What is New about Hazard Communication?

Washington State's Hazard Communication (GHS) Rule, Chapter 296-901, WAC
became effective on April 15, 2013.  The state adopted the new hazard
communication rules from federal OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard.
Employees in Washington must be trained on the safety data sheet (SDS)
format and new label elements by June 1, 2014.
