is given to a full-time University of Washington faculty member who has taught
for at least two years in innovative, non-degree programs sponsored by the
University and designed for professional development, personal interest, or
career redirection.

Rick Gleason Receives UW Award of Excellence
Rick Gleason, DEOHS Lecturer and Lead Instructor for the Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center, was awarded the University of Washington Distinguished Contributions to Lifelong Learning Award as part of the 2017 UW Awards of Excellence.
Rick has mentored countless safety professionals, and dedicated the last 20 years of his life to educating health and safety professionals, as well as graduate students, to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. Congratulations to Rick!
